After being introduced in the state assembly on December 7, the Karnataka Stamps (Amendment) Bill, 2023, aimed at increasing stamp duty in the state, was passed on December 11. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Karnataka Stamp Duty from 11 December 2023 onwards Revised, <\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-luminous-vivid-amber-color\">adoption deed<\/mark><\/strong>:  Stamp duty on adoption certificate will be increased from Rs 500 to Rs 1,000.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p> <strong>affidavit <\/strong>Stamp duty on affidavits will be increased from Rs 20 to a maximum of Rs 100.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p> <strong>power of attorney<\/strong> Stamp duty on power of attorney has been increased from Rs 100 to Rs 500.
