Trials on the 12-km stretch from Aarey Colony to Bandra began on March 12. The phase 1 portion of Mumbai Metro Line 3 will start from Aarey Colony to Bandra. Phase 2 of Mumbai Metro Line 3 will run from Bandra to Cuffe Parade. With 19 trains ready to go, Mumbai Metro (MMRCL) is all set to launch phase 1 of the underground corridor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Once completed, it will operate 260 flights and carry an estimated 17,000 passengers per day.
