Climate<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The climate of the West Godavari District is mild in both the winter and summer seasons. The typical maximum and lowest temperatures recorded in the District are 36.20 degrees Celsius and 19.0 degrees Celsius, respectively. The highest temperatures are frequently observed in April and May. The District receives its rainfall mostly from the South West and North East monsoons, with typical rainfall for each monsoon of 794.0 mm and 312.9 mm, respectively, for a total of 1106.09 m.m. Actual rainfall from the southwest monsoon during 2019-20 is 672.7 mm, while the northeast monsoon receives 207.3 mm.
