There are <em><strong>16.2 acres<\/strong><\/em> of land dedicated to the temple complex.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"2_Location\"><\/span>2. <strong>Location:<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong><em>Tirumala Tirupati<\/em><\/strong> is located in the southeastern state of <em><strong>Andhra Pradesh, <\/strong><\/em>India. It is situated in the Chittoor district, approximately 20 kilometers northwest of the city of Tirupati. There are direct buses available as well from Vellore, Bengaluru, and Chennai. Paid taxis and private bus companies also offer service to Tirupati from surrounding cities like Chennai, Hyderabad, Visakhapatnam, and Bangalore.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>automotive Clinic &#8211; TTD provides service through its automotive clinic for car breakdowns on ghat roads, levying certain fees on a case-by-case basis. The pilgrims can either report to the GNC in Tirumala or the Toll Gates in Alipiri, or they can call 0877-2263636 for quick assistance.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>The authorities prohibit all forms of transportation on the ghat route connecting Tirupati and Tirumala between 12 AM and 3 AM.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">ii) <strong>By Train:<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>There is no Railway station in Tirumala itself. Tirupati, which is located about 26 miles from Tirumala, is home to the closest railway station. With five platforms and an escalator, Tirupati Railway Station is a significant railway hub. It has good access to all of India&#8217;s main cities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">iii) <strong>By Air:<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>About 15 miles from Tirupati, in the vicinity of <em><strong>Renigunta, <\/strong><\/em>is the closest airport to Tirumala. Two carefully constructed stone footpaths go to Tirumala. Sopanamargas are the names of these routes. At the base of the hills at Alipiri, the oldest of the two sopanamargas begins. This 11-kilometer pathway is the most used route and is long. The shorter of the two sopanamargas, Srivari Mettu, is only around 6 kilometers long and begins in Chandragiri.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Restrooms, security, a canteen, drinking water, medical assistance, and piped religious music are all provided and maintained by TTD. In addition, TTD offers free luggage delivery services to devotees who choose to walk the hills to Tirumala.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"4_Darshan_Services_at_TTD\"><\/span>4. <strong>Darshan Services at TTD<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">i) <strong>Sarvadarshanam<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Every day, between 60,000 and 80,000 visitors go to the Sri Venkateswara Temple. To accommodate the large number of pilgrims traveling to Tirumala, <strong><em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.tirumala.org\/SRIVENKATESWARAANNAPRASADAMTRUST.aspx\">TTD <\/a><\/em><\/strong>has established effective methods of darshan.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>In the Vaikuntham Queue Complex II compartments, travelers can have free darshan as they wait their time to see the Lord. &#8216;Darshan for all&#8217; is the meaning of the Sanskrit phrase Sarvadarsanam. On various days of the week, Sarvadarsanam has varied times. For timings, please check the weekly temple program.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>On average, Sarvadarsanam is open for roughly 18 hours per day, and on busy days, it is open for 20 hours.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>This darshan can be accessed through the Vaikuntam Queue Complex. A network of interconnecting halls makes up the complex, which leads to the main temple. Each pilgrim&#8217;s ticket costs Rs. 300, and one laddu is offered without charge. Booking is open twenty-four hours a day.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>With effect from August 27, 2014, advance booking for special entry darshan is now available. Three hours before the Darshan Slot, pilgrims may reserve Special Entry Darshan tickets for the next day, subject to quota availability. When buying Darshan tickets, pilgrims have the option of making an eHundi offering.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Pilgrims can use Indian Post Offices and the Internet to make an advance reservation for a special entry darshan (<a href=\"https:\/\/tirupatibalaji.ap.gov.in\">https:\/\/tirupatibalaji.ap.gov.in<\/a>).<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"iii_Special_Darshan_for_Physically_disabled_and_Aged\"><\/span>iii) Special Darshan for Physically disabled and Aged<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>By purchasing &#8220;Differently Abled\/Senior Citizen\/Medical Cases&#8221; tickets well in advance through <a href=\"https:\/\/tirupatibalaji.ap.gov.in\">https:\/\/tirupatibalaji.ap.gov.in<\/a>. Lord Sri Venkateswara can be seen as a pilgrim in Tirumala.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>iv) <em>TTD Devastahnam Darshan Timings<\/em><\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Early morning hours at Tirumala Tirupati Balaji Temple start at three in the morning. The next day, the temple shutters at 1:30 AM, however, General Darshan stops after midnight.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The many types of darshans and their corresponding times are listed below:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>The general public is welcome to this Darshan, which is known as Sarva Darshanam. Every day of the week has a separate set of times.<\/li><li>The Darshan is available every Monday, Tuesday, Saturday, and Sunday from 7:30 AM to 7 PM. From 8 PM till 1 AM the following morning, it resumes.<\/li><li>The Darshan is offered on Wednesday and Friday from 9 AM until 7 PM and then again from 8 PM until 1 AM the following morning.<\/li><li>On Thursday, the Darshan begins at 8 AM and runs until 7 PM, then from 8 PM till 1 AM the following morning.<\/li><li>It is for immediate darshan. <strong><em>VIP darshan (Sheeghra darshan).<\/em><\/strong> Each person&#8217;s ticket is Rs. 300. On the official website, www.ttdsevaonline.com, pilgrims can also make a reservation in advance. Every day at 9 AM to 3 PM, this Darshan is offered.<\/li><li><strong><em>Tirumala Darshan by Walk (Divya Darshan) &#8211;<\/em><\/strong> This Darshan service is only available to devotees who choose to ascend the hill to the temple on foot. The two routes are Alipiri Mettu and Srivari Mettu.<\/li><li><strong><em>Senior citizen-specific darshan<\/em><\/strong> is available to pilgrims every day between the hours of 10 AM and 3 PM. They must, however, provide authorities with confirmation of their age.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"5_How_to_Book_TTD_Darshan_Tickets_Online\"><\/span>5. <strong>How to Book TTD Darshan Tickets Online<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>The TTD website requires pilgrims to register and receive a username and password in order to book Srivari Arjitha Sevas or lodging.
