How to File a Complaint in Telangana RERA?

Currently ts rera, there is no web-based option for filing a complaint with the authorities. In order to solve the problem, it is crucial to take concrete steps. If an individual wishes to file a complaint, they must fill out Form ‘M’ and submit it to the Authority.

It is essential to note that until the application process becomes web-based, a fee of one thousand rupees must be included with the form. This payment can be made through a demand draft or a banker’s cheque drawn on a scheduled bank, payable at the branch of that bank where the Authority’s seat is located. You also have the option to make your payment online. The authority follows the following procedure:

1) The Authority sends the respondent a notice containing the specifics of the alleged violation as well as the required documents.

2)It is imperative that the recipient of the notice responds to the complaint within the designated time frame. It is essential to complete this requirement promptly.

3) It is imperative to include the date and time of the upcoming hearing in the notification sent to the complainant to uphold fairness. By doing this, it will guarantee that they have all the required information and can appropriately get ready for the hearing.

4) On the date specified, the Authority shall inform the respondent of the alleged violation of any of the Act’s provisions.

If the respondent enters a guilty plea, the authority will record the plea and issue orders, including the imposition of penalties, in accordance with the provisions of the Act or the rules and regulations promulgated thereunder.

If the explanation is acceptable, the case might be dropped completely. Necessary, it may also conduct an investigation.
