Interesting facts about the Hyderabad Metro Green line
The Hyderabad Metro Green Line 3, often known as Line 3 or Nagole-Raidurg Corridor, is a section of the metro system.
The 16.6-kilometre line connects 15 stations from JBS Parade Ground to Falaknuma. Currently, it is the shortest line in the Hyderabad Metro network.
The Hyderabad Metro Green Line opened on February 8, 2020, and was inaugurated by Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao.
The Green Line of the Hyderabad Metro was launched in two phases. The first section, from Nagole to Ameerpet, began on September 24, 2018. The second phase, which connects Ameerpet to Hi-Tech City, was inaugurated later.
The Hyderabad Metro Rail project was initiated by the Government of Telangana and implemented by Hyderabad Metro Rail Limited (HMRL), a public-private partnership (PPP) initiative between the government and concessionaire L&T Metro Rail (Hyderabad) Limited.
The Green Line includes an interchange station. The HITEC City station acts as an interchange point for the Hyderabad Metro’s Green and Blue lines.
Green Line 3 connects with the Red Line at Ameerpet Station and the Blue Line at Parade Ground Station.
The 5.6 km extension from MG Bus Station to Falaknuma is set to be completed.
