New Secretariat of Telangana
The New Secretariat of Telangana is Situated at Hyderabad Which is located Near Hussain Sagar Lake. It is the Main Administrative office of the Employees of the Government of Telangana State. Telangana Government Announced On 15 September 2022, the Name of the New Secretariat Complex is Dr. B.r Ambedkar Telangana Secretariat.
On June 27, 2019 CM. KCR Garu has done the Bhoomi Puja of the New Secretariat. But the work was put on hold due to pending cases in High Court.
Opening Of Secretariat
After the inspection of Construction work was first announced it was opening on 17th Feb 2023 On the Occasion of CM KCR Birthday But it was not Opened due to Some Reasons like MLC Elections In Telangana.
“The much Awaited Telangana State New Secretariat will be Inaugurated On 30th April 2023,” Said Telangana Chief Minister K.Chandra Shekar Rao
Budget
The total Budget of the new Telangana Secretariat is more than 600 crores, and it was built for 25 acres.

History
They built the Old Secretariat during the old Nizam period days, and it consisted of a total of 10 blocks spread over 25 acres. After the separation of Telangana State from Andhra Pradesh, they divided the building into 58 and 42 parts. for Andhra Pradesh and Telangana for 10 years, Until 2024.
They built the Old Secretariat in Indo-Sarssenic style, but they built the new one with Indo-Islamic architectural features. Chennai-based architects Ponni Concessao and Oscar Concessao designed it.

About 125-feet Ambedkar Statue
Unveil Ceremony
Telangana Chief Minister K.Chandra Shekar Rao announced, On the Occasion of Dr. Babasahed Ambedkar Jayanti(Birth Anniversary) unveil of the 125-feet tall Bronze Ambedkar Statue in Hyderabad On April 14, 2023. Ambedkar is credited with founding the Indian Constitution. It is Ambedkar’s tallest Bronze statue and is situated near Hussain Sagar Lake.
Budget of Statue
They built this Statue on 12 acres with an estimated cost of 146 crores. Hyderabad-based KPC Projects Limited constructed this project. The architecture of the statue is Padma Bhusan Ram Vanji Sutar from Maharastra.

The Government of Telangana also invited Chief Guest Ambedkar’s Grandson Prakash Ambedkar for the Unveil Ceremony of the Statue. As part of the unveiling, they used a huge crane to remove the curtain on the Statue. They only invited Buddhist monks to conduct the ceremony in their traditional way.
CM. KCR Said the Unveil Ceremony of the statue is Celebrated as Huge and Historic. Ambedkar made India Proud across the globe by sacrificing his whole life to write Indian Constitution for Human Rights and Justice.
For this Ceremony Government of Telangana Booked almost 750 Buses for the Transportation of People who attend this Statue Unveiling from 119 constituencies. 300 from each constituency. The CM said that in addition to Secretariat staff, officers, heads of all departments, district collectors, state Ministers, MPs, MLCs, MLAs, and State Corporation chairpersons should attend this program.
